Whether you call this cocktail a London Mule, or Gin Mule, it doesn't matter. Basically, all this cocktail is is a Moscow Mule variation using Gin instead of Vodka! Variations on the Moscow Mule are easy to do. We've even seen this cocktail be called a Munich Mule and a Foghorn as well. It obviously goes by many names. Obviously the "London" part of "London Mule" references the fact that England is quite famous for its great Gin!All you need to do choose your favourite spirit and mix it with Ginger Beer and Lime Juice. It's that easy. For example, there's even a Mexican Mule and a Mezcal Mule for lovers of Tequila and Mezcal! So have fun on your Mule adventure, whether this is your first one or your last one.

Notes
Although you may be tempted, make sure you use a good Gin. Yes, most of the flavour of the Gin will be masked by the Ginger Beer, but if you use a decent Gin, it will balance well with the more intense flavours in this cocktail.Adding to that, although there's not a lot of Lime Juice in this cocktail, compared to the rest of the recipe at least, make sure your juice is freshly squeezed. It takes a lot to compete with the Ginger Beer, but you really want those flavours coming through, otherwise what's the point? Using good and fresh Limes is key to this.
