Two Tequila Diablo Rojo cocktails.

Tequila Diablo Rojo

Print Recipe
Meaning "Tequila Red Devil" in Spanish, the Tequila Diablo Rojo is a fun Tequila based cocktail that's easy to sip on but has a nice kick to it as well. The Ginger Beer makes this cocktail a longer drink, so it's a good one if you want to enjoy a Tequila cocktail but sit on it for awhile.
While there are a few ingredients in this drink, it's actually quite simple to make. The Crème de Cassis is a little less common to have in your home bar, but it's worth keeping on hand for occaisions such as this. Or perhaps you already had a bottle, put it into our cocktail generator to see what you could make, and found yourself here.
However you found this cocktail, enjoy it.

Notes

*You can make Simple Syrup at home with this Simple Syrup recipe.
Despite not being quite as famous as other Tequila based cocktails, this is still a pretty classic drink; it's just not quite as well known. While not a Tiki staple, the Diablo Rojo was actually first invented by Trader Vic under the name El Diablo. We prefer the newer name because it's red, so works a little better.
With that, the traditional recipe has evolved over time, but the measurements we have here reflect some more modern tastes.
