Downhill Racer
The combined taste sensation of Amaretto with Golden Rum and a bit of pineapple creates a tropical and fun cocktail that's far from standard. We're putting this slightly in the Daiquiri camp since it's Rum and fruit thanks to the pineapple, but call it what you want. Just don't forget to use a decent Rum so your drink doesn't fall short.
Ingredients
- 60 mL Golden Rum
- 20 mL Amaretto
- 45 mL Pineapple Juice
- Garnish with wedge of pineapple (optional)
Instructions
- Shake Rum, Amaretto, and Pineapple Juice in a cocktail shaker filled with plenty of ice until cold.
- Strain into a Martini glass.
- Add garnish, drink, enjoy.
Notes
Don't let your Rum get lost behind the Amaretto and Pineapple Juice, both of which have pretty robust flavours. Make sure your Rum has enough flavour to compete.
