Let’s Keep Talking About the Gin Buck
Although this cocktail recipe may seem basic, it just goes to show that you don’t need to get overly complicated in order to make or drink a great cocktail. Yes, some cocktails are elaborate and over the top, and that’s fun. But if you’re just mixing some drinks at home, something simple can be nice too.
And we know we’ve already said it, but when you’re doing a simple recipe, make sure you use top notch ingredients. There’s never much to hide behind when you’re going basic, so you want all the flavours to be as vibrant as possible!
Can I make more than one Gin Buck at once?
We supposed, but the Gin Buck recipe is so basic, it’s easy enough to make these individually. If you’re having a larger party and need serve a lot of people, this cocktail will work well if you make it in a jug and then pour it out to people individually. It’s up to you!
Can I make the Gin Buck in advance?
We wouldn’t recommend this. Whenever you’re dealing with anything carbonated, it’s best that the carbonated ingredient is nice and fresh. Again, if you’re making more than a few for guests, just wait until arrive then quickly pour everything into a jug. It should only take a minute or two.
What’s a good opportunity to drink a Gin Buck?
As with the Moscow Mule, we think a cocktail like this is a great replacement for when you’d usually have a beer. It’s a decent amount of liquid and it’s refreshing. While the ABV in this cocktail would likely be higher than that of a beer, it’s not too bad.
So enjoy a Gin Buck when you’re just relaxing or at an informal gathering. It does well!
Is the Gin Buck a strong cocktail?
Well, it’s no stronger than a Moscow Mule! As mentioned, it’s going to be stronger than a beer. There’s 60 mL of Gin in this cocktail after all! So if you’re enjoying a Gin Buck with beer drinkers, avoid drinking this cocktail at the same pace as a beer. Go slightly slower.
What kind of music goes best with a Gin Buck?
We’ll leave this one up to you! We feel like the Gin Buck is such a versatile cocktail, it will really go with anything. So, whatever the occasion is to enjoy a Gin Buck, play the music that best goes for it.
